Paper.io is a fast-paced IO game where your main goal is to capture as much territory as possible. You move your character outside your starting area, leave a colored trail, and then return to your own territory to turn the space inside your path into your color. The larger your area becomes, the more of the map you control. Your trail is one of the most important parts of the game. When you leave your territory, the trail you create can be attacked by another player. If an opponent touches it before you return safely, your current run can end.

The same rule works against your opponents. When another player leaves their territory, look for their exposed trail. If you reach it before they return, you can eliminate them and take control of the opportunity they created. This makes the game a mix of territory building, timing, and quick reactions, much like the fast decision-making needed in Slicer Duo.

Controls

• Mouse: Move the mouse left or right to guide your character around the map.

Smart Ways to Expand

Good territory control is not only about moving quickly. You also need to decide when to stop expanding. Start with smaller sections when there are several opponents nearby. Once the area around you becomes safer, you can try larger moves. Staying close to your own territory gives you a shorter route back if another player approaches.

Moving around the outer parts of the map can also help you find open space. However, you should still watch for opponents and avoid making a move that leaves your trail exposed for too long.
